Job Description:
Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. The HR functions help the local offices in driving the firm’s people strategy, helping to create a unique people experience for each individual, supporting our firm wide values and working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firm wide success in the marketplace. Human Resources supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.

The National Advisory Human Resources team is responsibile for HR processes related to talent development, performance management, total rewards, and compliance requirements across the Advisory Line of Service (LoS).

The Advisor Vertical Human Resources team executes on firm and LoS Human Capital strategy to provide a consistent and valuable experience for the people within the industry business (known as a Vertical) as well as across the Advisory practice.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrated intimate knowledge of Human Resource’s function in a consulting or professional services firm providing strategic oversight and driving the alignment of the business objectives and people strategy. This may include leading the integration of strategic priorities and delivering on operational responsibilities for the business including but not limited to, headcount strategy, strategic deployment, utilization management, talent management, partner and Managing Director admissions and performance management/total rewards.

Demonstrated extensive knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices, overall firm Human Resources strategy, and proven ability to execute on a Performance Management and Total Rewards Strategy, and a Talent Development and Sourcing Strategy.

Demonstrated extensive knowledge in all PwC core competencies particularly focusing on; clients, building and sustaining relationships, change agility, managing projects & economics, as well as continuously learning and sharing knowledge.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, as a strategic business partner, with Advisory Leadership, Verticals Human Capital Leaders and Pillar Leaders to lead the execution and success of strategic objectives; demonstrating knowledge of Advisory business requirements and dynamics to reinforce PwC’s one-firm philosophy across a heavily matrixed organization.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrated and proven thought leader level of ability to develop, lead, and manage the overall people strategy and operations for the business including, headcount strategy, strategic deployment, utilization management, talent management, partner and Managing Director admissions and performance management/total rewards.

Demonstrated proven ability to analyze Human Resources operational targets and metrics to determine trends, recommended solutions, and develop action plans with proven ability to execute upon them and drive change.

Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters for staff and Partners and ability to collaborate with Leadership and Ethics & Compliance to resolve these matters.

Proven experience in a professional services organization with demonstrated steady progression and advancement with increased responsibilities, including management, team building, and presentation capabilities. are preferred.

Demonstrated and proven success working autonomously while managing multiple teams and projects, all working simultaneously, as well as coach and develop team members.
