Position Summary:

The Director, Global Transfer Pricing is a high profile position and is a key member of a growing Corporate tax team, responsible for all aspects of the company’s intercompany pricing arrangements, including transfers of intellectual property, tangible goods, services, loans, cost share arrangements and other transactions.

This position reports to the VP of International Tax and works closely with the Corporate tax team as well as regional tax directors based in London, Miami and Singapore to develop, implement, and support global transfer pricing policies and strategies to manage the company’s global tax risks and effective tax rate. The Director will manage day-to-day transfer pricing issues and establish procedures to ensure compliance with applicable global income tax practices and regulations.


Manage the company’s global transfer pricing function, including:

1. Identifying & analyzing transfer pricing issues and opportunities

2. Developing recommendations to enhance the company’s transfer pricing position

3. Implementing transfer pricing planning initiatives in a cross-functional setting

4. Advising business leaders on transfer pricing implications of business initiatives and planning opportunities

5. Ensuring compliance with global transfer pricing rules including maintaining contemporaneous global transfer pricing documentation, cost share arrangements and intercompany agreements.

6. Managing transfer pricing controversies and developing audit defense strategies

7. Determining tax provision implications (FIN 48/ASC 740) of transfer pricing matters

8. Providing support and oversight on transfer pricing matters to foreign subsidiaries

9. Managing external tax advisors

10. Monitoring changes in transfer pricing law and respond accordingly to maintain compliance.


*Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.

*Advanced degree, CPA, JD a plus

*At least 8 years of transfer pricing experience in a multinational and/or public accounting

*Thorough understanding of US and OECD transfer pricing methods

*Strong ability to handle tax matters related to transfer pricing, e.g., permanent establishment issues, withholding taxes, foreign tax credits

*Excellent oral and written communication skills

*Ability to interact with business and finance executives

*Ability to work independently, meet stringent deadlines, successfully drive projects

*Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, team work and collaboration

*Willingness to travel

*Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
