1. Integral member of the Tax Department’s tax reporting and compliance group. Concentrated responsibility for federal, state and international tax compliance preparation and ASC 740 reporting duties.

2. Core responsibilities include calculation of Federal and state book/tax differences, calculation of federal and state estimated tax payments, and timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and related tax basis balance sheets.

3. Core responsibilities include the maintenance and analysis of income tax accounts and assistance with tax provision and other ASC 740 calculations.

4. Perform tax research and calculations as requested.

5. Assist with state apportionment data gathering and calculations.

6. Assist with preparation and review of sales tax and property tax returns.

7. Assist with preparation of Forms 5471 and 8858 and related E&P and basis calculations.

8. Support leadership of the senior tax executives to build a results-oriented department, adopting best practice policy and procedures.

9. Support the tax management team with their on-going efforts to minimize taxes.

10. Proactive communication on tax related matters with the company’s corporate/divisional finance teams, legal, business development and HR departments.

11. Assist tax management with corporate planning, addressing the company’s complex and dynamic business needs.

12. Other duties as assigned.


*Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

*CPA and MS Taxation a Plus

*Media/Entertainment industry background helpful

*At least two to four years of progressive tax experience and proven knowledge of the following:

-Federal and State tax return preparation for corporations and partnerships

-ASC 740 preparation and analysis, tax forecasts

-Excellent tax research and writing skills.

*International tax experience a plus

*Excellent Advanced Excel skills

*CorpTax experience a plus

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to clearly communicate goals and motivate internal and external constituents with confidence

*Must be able to interact effectively with management team, corporate partners, and members of the tax department

*A superior work ethic and a dedication to the highest work quality and job excellence

*Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
