GES-IHR Manager Level Job Description

 

We are seeking an International Human Resources Manager with 5+ years of experience in International HR, International Assignment Outsourcing and Program Management, International Assignment Compensation and Payroll work in our International Human Resource Cosourcing and Consulting practice in our Mid-American region (Dallas, Tulsa, or Houston). 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality client service and support for clients’ international assignment programs
  • Ensure services provided are within the agreed service level and scope for each engagement
  • Consult on assignment policy and process improvements
  • Build and maintain trusting relationship with client’s international assignment program contacts
  • Manage and coach an internal and offshore team who provide support and guidance to assignees and assignment program
  • Monitor account financials and manage the billing process
  • Prepare and present annual reports to the client

Qualifications/Experience

This role would ideally suit individuals who are extremely client service-driven with strong commercial awareness, having worked within a HR environment.  This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to further their experience and knowledge of International Assignment Management within a Professional Service organization.  The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

 

      Solid experience in global mobility management at a supervisory level

      Solid understanding of international assignment compensation and assignment related issues, with proven track record of technical knowledge in international assignment compensation management

      Understanding of taxation and social security implications associated with international assignments and compensation and benefits would be desirable

      Client service orientation, with exceptional interpersonal skills

      Good project management, presentation and organizational skills

      Proactive with a solid work ethic

      Experience of managing and developing staff

 

Education/Background

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a Masters or equivalent preferred, in Human Resources, International Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.   Appropriate industry accreditation (GPHR, GMS, CPP, or GRP) must be completed or in process.  Ability to speak a foreign language is a plus.
