Position Summary:

 

Global Employment Services (GES) tax professionals help clients develop tax-aligned compensation and benefits programs that address their global and domestic needs. Professionals are comprised of global compensation, benefits, and international assignments practitioners who work with clients to streamline their programs while managing tax effectiveness, risks, and costs. These services are designed to assist clients with developing the strategies, processes, and technologies that affect their staff and operations on a worldwide scale.

 

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our IHR Tax Group.  The IHR (International Human Resources) group is a part of our GES practice that provides global mobility program management and consulting services to multi-national clients on issues that arise when sending employees on international assignments.  Consulting services include assignment policy review, policy development, service delivery design, and process reviews.  Program management services include a variety of duties surrounding the daily administration of a Global Mobility Program, including assignment letter development, assignment cost analysis, assignee orientations, coordination of relocation, immigration and cultural training, securing totalization agreements, international payroll reconciliation, taxable payment reporting, tax gross-ups, invoice/expense processing and calculation of assignment balance sheets.                                                        

 

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced IHR Professional to join our group.  Qualified candidates will possess three or more years of experience in global mobility management or related field.  The candidate should be knowledgeable about current trends, policies, and legislation, including understanding the implications for the client company.    Candidates must be familiar with large, complex environments and/or matrix structures and be able to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency.

 

The key responsibilities of this position are as follows: 

  • Assist in administering payroll allowances and process documentation for our client’s global mobility programs. Direct involvement with international relocation coordination, securing totalization agreements, and taxable payment collection and reporting, tax-gross up, invoice processing, and calculation of expatriate balance sheets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the local population of assignees 
  • Coordinate international relocations for client assignee populations
  • Data entry into assignment, compensation and tax tracking systems
  • Contact for client’s payroll, accounts payable departments, and foreign offices
  • Maintain appropriate procedures with regard to record-keeping and reporting functions for the assignee population including: information about compensation, benefits, costs, expenses, immigration, etc. 
  • Generate adhoc reports

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and experience with utilizing technology systems that maintain demographic and financial/payroll compensation data
  • Proven ability to deliver a quality product and adhere to tight turnaround times
