Job Description:
Healthcare is a transforming industry due to legislative and regulatory demands, technology challenges, and societal trends. Our growing Health Industries Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions around the world to anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. Our practitionars are supported by a dedicated health research unit, which is managed by a physician partner and provides our clients with cutting-edge intelligence, perspective, and analysis on issues transforming the health industry. Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Healthcare Advisory practice is aligned across: Healthcare Provider, Healthcare Payers, and Pharmaceutical and Life Science.

Our Operations consultants help clients realize competitive advantage from operations. This high performing team translates business strategy into operations strategy and transforms operations to drive both growth and profitability. Specific areas of focus include global footprint and network design, product innovation and development, sales and operations planning, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations, logistics, and capital programs.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Candidates should demonstrate some knowledge of operations management including operationalizing business strategies and transforming the value chain functions from product development through supply chain, manufacturing, and product support.

Some experience in Operations Strategy and Transformation, Product Innovation and Development, Supply and Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Service Operations, Manufacturing and/or Logistics is preferred.

APICS CSCP, APICS CPIM, ISM CPSM, ISM CSM, or ISC CPSD certifications preferred.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates some proven knowledge and success with leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative, and the following areas:

-Teaming with others including building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, contributing to innovation, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback;
-Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests and interviews for information, creating materials that effectively communicate results and implications, and communicating potential conflicts;
-Demonstrating aptitude for conducting market research and quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data including the timely synthesis of qualitative data into meaningful insights and the ability to readily grasp analytical frameworks and employ them effectively to either qualitative or quantitative evidence.

Proven exposure to system applications that support the following processes: product lifecycle management, network optimization, planning/forecasting, merchandising, inventory management, sourcing/ e-sourcing, maintenance, enterprise asset management, materials management, warehouse management, or transportation management preferred. Specific providers could include SAP, Oracle, Manugistics, Manhattan Associates, JDA, Red Prairie, SmartOps, and/or Primavera
