TMC, Performance Management Technologies (PMT), Tax Senior Consultant:

 

A PMT Tax Senior Consultant works within an engagement team and is responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.

Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree required

·         At least 3 years relevant consulting and/or industry experience

·         Experience with performance management technologies (Hyperion, BPC, and/or Cognos)

·         Familiarity with SOX 404 internal controls testing of key controls objectives and control activities framework

·         A minimum of 1 full life cycle implementation

·         4+ yrs experience implementing one or more of the following technologies:

o    Hyperion Planning and/or HFM

o    SAP BPC (formerly known as Outlooksoft) 

o    Cognos Planning and/or Controller

o    Tax point solutions such as TaxStream, CORPTax and/or Longview a strong plus…

·         A willingness to travel 80 – 100% of the time (Monday — Thursday/Friday)

 

In addition, successful PMT Tax Senior Consultants will have the following preferred background:

 

·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

·         Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

·         Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

·         Eagerness to mentor junior staff

·         An advanced degree in the area of specialization

·         CPA Preferred

·         Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.

·         Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle implementation.

·         A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
