Job Description:
PwC’s Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm’s priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.

Our Marketing team is focused on developing and leveraging our deep understanding of marketplace trends and issues to design, implement and measure integrated strategic marketing plans for our industry sectors, Lines of Service, and geographic markets. Our marketing plans help position PwC’s brand in our key markets, sectors, client segments, other stakeholders as with the economic buyers, align PwCs presence around key business issues facing our clients and drive demand for our services. Marketing supports the sales process by linking client issues and needs to specific business opportunities and capabilities and contributes to the development of high quality proposal strategies and deliverables.

Marketing is responsible for advising industry, sector and line of service leadership on strategic business issues (i.e., external and internal forces that impact the sector’s ability to grow at the expected rate). It includes leading the development of the annual marketing strategy with management of a marketing budget and team.

The Marketing organization will:

– Assess key issues facing our clients and connects them to our products and services. – Involve industry specific, regulatory operational and organizational issues our clients face. – Supervise distribution of industry sector and other business insight and thought leadership and connect those insights to client interactions
– Drive PwC’s Brand and relationships with key economic buyer groups such as CEOs, finance professionals, operations professionals, IT professionals and board members.
– Manage the PwC Brand, for non-economic buyer stakeholders
– Work across our matrix to make sure integrated marketing plans are created and the impacts of marketing activities are measured.
– Evaluate the results of marketing activities and, when appropriate, makes changes in marketing plans.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Some knowledge of key marketing processes including: event planning/logistics, database marketing, mass mailing/emailing, thought leadership

Experience researching and analyzing data.

Experience creating templates in order to conduct research, compile data and perform preliminary analysis.
Familiarity with Social Media tools.

Familiarity with Client Relationship Management tools.

Experience contributing to the development of a social media strategy, execution of the strategy and measuring it’s success.

Skills Preferred:

Ability to plan and execute events including webcasts,conference calls, meetings, and conferences.

Ability to collaborate with executive leaders and team members.

Project management skills and the ability to communicate clearly when writing, speaking and/or presenting to others.

Ability to utilize research and evaluate possible alternatives to leverage the information to develop enhanced plans.

Ability to leverage existing tools to make recommendations.

Demonstrated ability collaborating and teaming with others.

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly when writing, speaking, and presenting to others.

Demonstrated ability using critical thinking skills.

Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:

Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) Marketing or business finance majors
