Tax Clients & Markets (C&M) is a high-performing group of professionals focused on driving the growth of the Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax) practice in the marketplace.  Tax C&M is responsible for Deloitte Tax marketplace strategy and execution across the U.S.  Activities include:

  • Understanding and communicating the emerging needs of our market segments
  • Creating and communicating insight around trends that can lead to marketplace opportunities and new market offerings
  • Identifying areas of marketplace opportunities and developing action plans to achieve results
  • Delivering “One Deloitte Team” and solutions to our clients
  • Supporting tax practitioners with tools, skills training, and information as they deliver differentiated value to clients

C&M Senior Consultant – Generalist:

 

Deloitte Tax LLP, Clients and Markets team is currently searching for a Senior Consultant – Generalist to assist with various market-facing activities to help drive Deloitte Tax’s brand and messaging in the marketplace as well as conduct analysis for  specific service lines or industries.  This individual will assist with the development, coordination, communication and execution of national marketing and business development programs, creation of a communication programs (including social media), support webcasts and thoughtware production, and other projects focused on research and analysis.  This is a newly created position and the ideal candidate will be a professional with strong project management, analytical, and communication skills; have a strong attention to detail; and is organized and flexible. Additionally they will need to have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a complex organization and interact regularly with senior leadership.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Management and execution of integrated programs focused on building eminence, relationship development and prospective client acquisition.   Oversight of the process required for distribution of external client materials.
• Work with Tax C&M Project Leads to drive strategic initiatives aligned with the growth strategy for Deloitte Tax LLP
• Generation of ideas which can help us penetrate a competitive marketplace.
• Management of content on external and internal websites. 
• Measurement and analysis of performance across various C&M activities.
• Working with Tax Regional Market Leaders and their groups to develop to ensure knowledge sharing across regions and streamline execution of activities.
• Working with colleagues to track the results of our client events and programs, particularly sales activity and follow-up client contact.
• Work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Understand client/project needs, analyze current processes and data, and develop options for meeting stated objectives
• Collaboration with colleagues and other internal groups, to ensure programs are communicated appropriately to and through internal channels.
• Writing initial drafts and editing, conceptualization and design support
• Program support for the Dbriefs webcast series (from inception, to follow-up, to programs that help increase attendance)
• Support development of Social Media program and leveraging existing various social media channels to increase program effectiveness 
• Involvement in targeting initiatives and rollout
 

  • at least three years’ experience in professional services, strategy & operations consulting, or comparable experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field
  • Advanced Degree a plus
  • Understanding of Deloitte financial systems and metrics is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong market research skills
  • Ability to draw conclusions, identify options, make recommendations
  • Potential to build project management skills
  • Flexibility and creativity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Knowledge of tax business is a plus
  • Available for light travel
