Tax Management Consulting (TMC), Overview

Deloitte Tax LLP’s Management Consulting (TMC) group helps our clients’ tax departments move forward from current state to the next-generation tax function. TMC is dedicated to trying to find new methods and processes to assist clients in improving their tax functions.  TMC teams include industry, tax, organizational change, technology, and cosourcing specialists who can help make the necessary connections between our clients’ global strategies and the many options for carrying them out in the tax function.

Paraprofessional

 

TMC has an immediate need for a paraprofessional to work with the team in the pursuit process and group coordination.  Responsibilities would include preparation of client proposals, presentations, and other client directed materials as well as assisting with the development of internal training materials and presentations.  The position also has responsibility for the tracking and maintenance of many team databases, templates and reports. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Ø  Prepare proposals for delivery to potential clients

Ø  Prepare presentations and visual aids for delivery to potential clients

Ø  Continually evaluate and improve the quality of the materials produced to ensure excellence and keep up with changing market trends

Ø  Identify opportunities for process and service improvements

Ø  Support internal projects and initiatives as needed

Ø  Liaise with all team members to ensure that all support needs are being met and assist with tasks as needed

Qualifications:

 

Ø  Two-year degree or equivalent experience

Ø  Experience in a professional services industry and/or corporate office environment desirable

Ø  Expert level user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ø  Document development experience

Ø  Strong problem-solving skills

Ø  Strong follow-through and tracking skills

Ø  Ability to quickly learn new procedures with limited direction

Ø  Excellent attention to detail

Ø  Excellent written and oral communications skills

Ø  Ability to work extended hours as needed

Ø  Manages multiple demands effectively

Ø  Exceptional organizational skills

Ø  Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
