Deloitte Tax LLP’s (Deloitte Tax) National Tax Technology Group (NTTG) team is responsible for the design, development and deployment of tax tools.  The professionals on the NTTG team are focused on assisting Deloitte Tax in its efforts to deliver quality, comprehensive, value-added, and efficient client services using tax tools to our clients.  The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving tax technology management, tool development and implementation.

 

Position Overview:
Responsible for providing and, in some cases, supervising Project Management Office (PMO) support including gathering and documenting system/business requirements, developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring project progress, developing project and financial reporting packages, while developing staff.

 

Responsibilities:
• Understand the goals of and implement process improvements for the Project Management Office including support and maintenance of the NTTG product SharePoint site and process templates.
• Work with Project Managers to help develop comprehensive and quality project management processes, tools and data throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Use project data to develop and distribute a monthly, as well as, a quarterly reporting package.
• Prepare presentation decks to supplement leadership communication.
• Follow-up, prioritize and implement changes to the PMO process and tools.
• Facilitate and document results of project post implementation reviews.
• Provide meeting facilitation support.
• Maintain and expand the NTTG product inventory database.
• Other documentation and team process facilitation as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
• Executive presence and professionalism
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to navigate and manage change and ambiguity
• Ability to delegate appropriately and provide timely and effective feedback
• Experience juggling multiple with competing priorities
• Ability to work independently and in a virtual environment
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office products
• Understanding of Project Management and/or the Software Development Life Cycle is strongly preferred
