We are currently seeking a Senior International Tax Specialist to Job ID 142660. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Stamford, CT location.

The primary responsibility will be related to US international tax compliance and tax accounting. This position provides an overall balance of work that consists of US international compliance and planning, tax accounting, transfer pricing and IRS audits.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

US / International Responsibilities:

• Prepare/review tax reporting related to international operations including Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 8865 and related disclosures.

• Compute tax attributes including Earnings & Profits, Subpart F income and tax basis of foreign investments.

• Assist with transfer pricing documentation.

• Assist with international tax related projects arising from worldwide restructuring, acquisition, cash repatriations, research and planning.

• Support the international portion of federal tax audits including research, writing and responding to IRS Information Document Requests.

• Assist with international aspects of ASC 740.

• Participate in special projects as required.

Tax Accounting Responsibilities:

• Assist with the Company’s effective tax rate calculation on a quarterly and annual basis.

• Reconcile U.S. general ledger tax accounts and consolidate global balance sheet tax accounts as required.

• Assist with consolidating tax and financial statement reporting.

• Perform other tax accounting related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA certificate preferred.

• 3 to 5 years of experience with a large public accounting firm or in the tax department of a large, multinational corporation; international tax experience a plus.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with TaxStream, Vertex International, Hyperion and/or SAP a plus.

• Ability to communicate ideas to tax and non-tax personnel both verbally and in written format.
