Position Summary

* Responsible for tax compliance and planning for global transfer pricing

* Review and improve the global transfer pricing process to support prices, royalty rates and other cross-border charges

* Establish metrics to insure adherence to internal TP guidelines including preparation of TP reports and audit support

* Direct and review global TP tax filings and related documentation

* Develop compliant TP planning solutions to minimize global tax

* Take a leadership role for TP matters with accounting, financial planning and tax authorities.

Provide tax due diligence and support for acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations

* Review business development analysis from a tax perspective

* Review purchase or sale agreements for tax issues.

* Assist with tax due diligence on third party transactions

Participate in US tax compliance reviews

Manage, develop and mentor professional staff

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

* Strong compliance orientation

* Strong desire to create value within the role and responsibilities assigned

* Excellent technical writing and editing skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills

* Experience with process improvement, proactively streamlining procedures and reporting

* Strong project management and leadership skills



* 6+ years of corporate or partnership tax experience

* 2+ years of experience working with transfer pricing related issues

* Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting systems and theory to ascertain potential tax ramifications of complex business transactions (like HFM or SAP)

* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related degree with relevant experience


* Master’s degree in Taxation or JD

* CPA certification

* Experience with a major CPA firm or large multi-national corporation.

* Experience dealing with audits and controversies

* Experience with FAS 109 \ ASC 740 accounting for income taxes
