During your Market Development Services internship within the Marketing group, your responsibilities could include:


  • Development and coordination of promotional materials and sales tools.

  • Participation with Industry and Account, Function, Federal, and Regional marketing manager(s) in strategy discussions.

  • Tracking news stories and company press releases and communicating to supporting teams on an ongoing basis

  • Facilitation of the market targeting process for assigned targets, including organizing meetings, maintaining minutes and account reporting

  • Helping to identify activities that will support the relationship development and business expansion related to key industry targets and clients.

  • Management and implementation of major promotional events such as trade shows, roundtables, internal conferences and industry speaking events including sponsorships.

  • Developing and maintaining timelines and responsibility matrices for complex proposal development efforts, working with diverse groups of professionals locally and virtually.

What it takes 

If you’re ready to participate in Deloitte’s Market Development Services Internship Program, we’re ready to talk. Here’s what you’ll need: 


  • Junior standing in a four-year institution


  • Major in Marketing, Communications or related field


  • 3.2 cumulative GPA strongly preferred with equal or stronger performance in your major(s)


  • Keen interest in professional services and a career in Marketing


  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral


  • Exceptional customer service skills, listening and communications skills


  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential
