Tax Senior (Private Company Services) position available in Los Angeles, CA to assist clients with national, state and local and international tax structures.  Advise clients in making informed and strategic decisions relevant to their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving  during their lifetime and through estate planning. Utilize experience in individual, trust and business flow through entity taxation, and work with high-net worth individuals and families, corporate executives, and/or owners of closely held businesses. Assist in income tax planning and compliance. Assist with the supervision of Tax Consultants and escalate issues when necessary. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as eighteen (18) months of experience in job offered or eighteen (18) months of experience providing tax planning and compliance services for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.  Eighteen (18) months of experience must include: utilizing tax software and tools, including GoSystems, ProSystems, CCH, BNA, RIA CheckPoint, and LexisNexis, to research, analyze and prepare tax matters for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals; preparing and reviewing state, federal tax compliance forms, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 5471, 8865, 926, 8621 for individuals and partnerships; responding to Information Document Requests (IDRs) various tax notices regarding various state withholding from pass through entities and household employee’s payroll taxes, and providing requested documents for IRS Audit requests; leading client engagements and training, counseling, and mentoring junior team members; and examining and reviewing financial records for S corporations, and reviewing trial balance for partnerships in accordance with the U.S. GAAP.>
