Job Description:
Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. The HR functions help the local offices in driving the firm’s people strategy, helping to create a unique people experience for each individual, supporting our firm wide vales and working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firm wide success in the marketplace. Human Resources supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.

The Firm provides HR support to the majority of our Staff in the field through a Market organization. Each of the 20 Markets has a Market HR Leader (MHRL) leading the Market and supporting HR staff in Advisory, Tax , Assurance, and in most markets, IFS. In addition, the market teams are composed of HR Generalists, dedicated to staff in specific lines of service, along with sourcing staff and diversity staff to serve that market.

Line of Service (LoS) HR professionals are the HR Advisors for a specific line of service Market Team and provide strategic oversight to the Line of Service Market HR Generalists in driving the success of LoS Market Teams aligned with people strategy objectives.

Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 7

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree or 7 years experience in Human Resources or related field

Knowledge Preferred:
Extensive knowledge of HR policies and practices as well as individual Line of Service in engaging the Market LoS Leader, Market HR Generalists and Market Team Leaders leveraged to communicate and execute the people strategy for the LoS market teams.
Demonstrates an extensive understanding of all aspects of HR and the strategic and operational priorities of the Line of Service (LoS).

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to:
Communicate and execute market LoS Unique People Experience strategy.

Drive continuous improvement in LoS Market Team by conducting human capital performance analyses against targeted metrics, determining actionable items, researching root causes and developing plan of action.

Lead LoS Market Team workforce planning process. Provide input into development and achievement of LoS Market budget.
Understand and drive LoS HR strategy and provide input to and from the geographic market.

Determine Market LoS client service (Assurance, Advisory, Tax) sourcing goals.
Select interviewers and collaborate with Sourcing to determine offer packages, start dates, etc. for client service candidates joining the assigned LoS Market Team.

Provide guidance and supervision to LoS Market HR Generalists to drive Everyday Coaching Model.
Provide career development coaching to Market Team client service and Internal Firm Services (IFS) staff and facilitate coaching conversations with Coaches, staff and Market Team Leader; make Relationship Partner/Leader assignments.

Provide strategic oversight and guidance to Market HR Generalists to address effectively critical people issues; address critical people issues within assigned Market Team.
Lead, coach and develop LoS Market HR Generalists.

Assess training needs for LoS Market Teams and implement training programs in collaboration with Learning & Education.

Oversee implementation of diversity efforts within the LoS Market Teams.

Partner with Learning & Development to deliver nationally-developed training to Market Team client service staff and partners
.

Make site visits to geographic market offices, plan and execute connectivity events and work with Market Team leaders and staff to understand people issues within the Market Team, mitigating potential legal risks and highlighting Market Team trends.
Investigate and resolve Market Team complaints not involving ethics, expenses, discrimination, retaliation or sexual harassment; provide oversight and guidance for investigations conducted by Market HR Generalists.
Lead Line of Service (LoS) Market HR Generalists to address workload balance and strategic client and non-client opportunities (e.g., mega-client deployment, Learning & Education, succession planning).

Lead Market Team efforts to address workload balance and strategic client and non-client opportunities for client service staff.

Additional Information:
This role will support the National Business Advisory Services Practice for Finanical Services.
