Job Description:
PwC’s Learning and Development function is a key enabler of the PwC Experience, an element of the Firm’s overall strategy. Integrating with the business, and implementing best-in-class teaching practices, this function supports and enables higher quality, and more relevant learning that is aligned with high performing teams.

The Virtual Classroom team works with L&D project teams across Lines of Service, Sectors, and Markets to deliver high-quality, leading-edge, instructor-led eLearning to internal and external (e.g., client, alumni) audiences. They consult with project teams on technology selection, best practices in design to achieve program objectives, and materials preparation. They prepare and coach session presenters, including PwC partners and presenters external to the firm. They troubleshoot in-session difficulties while minimizing their effects on presenters and participants, and work with technical specialists to address root causes and perform after-action reviews. They contribute to the development of best practices for instructor-led eLearning throughout L&D through skills building and training. They are able to support events across all live modalities and establish strong ongoing relationships with internal IT operations and vendor contacts, working strategically to advance available opportunities in this space and achieve performance excellence.

Position/Program Requirements:
Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated understanding NASBA CPE compliance rules for eLearning.

Minimum Years of Experience: 3

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree or 3 years Virtual Classroom working experience

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates knowledge in design, set up, facilitation, and troubleshooting virtual classroom events in LiveMeeting, WebEx sessions, webcasts, and video conferences.
Demonstrates knowledge in instructional design, adult learning theory, and problem-based learning approaches.
Understanding of NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) CPE compliance rules for eLearning.
Demonstrates understanding of eLearning design and project management.

Skills Preferred:
Proven experience in a professional services environment designing, facilitating, and troubleshooting virtual classroom events.
Prior instructor experience.
Demonstrates ability to consult effectively across staff levels to maximize session results.
Proven ability to work well under pressure and troubleshoot technology failures quickly and calmly to minimize the effects these difficulties have on presenters and learners.
