Job Description:
The Financial Services industry is operating in a challenging environment due to global economic pressure, increasing regulatory demands and capital requirements as well as significant operational and technology changes. Our growing Financial Services Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help major financial institutions around the world respond to their most complex business challenges. The Financial Services Advisory practice is composed of three industry sectors: Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets and Insurance.

Our Risk & Regulatory consultants help clients understand and address their enterprise risk and regulatory profile. This high performing team advises clients on the overall management and performance of their business, with a focus in compliance management, business continuity, risk and governance, and treasury management.

Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 6

Minimum Degree Required: Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Finance, or similar

Certification Preferred: CAMS

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and a proven record of success managing and executing data analytics projects within the Financial Services sector, including banking industry, consulting, or government regulatory positions. Knowledge areas include:
Regulatory knowledge, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA Patriot Act, and Anti Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, as well as the OCC 2011-12 / Fed SR 11-7 Supervisory Guidance on Model Risk Management;

Knowledge and understanding of leading AML vendor model solutions, including Actimize, Oracle Mantas, SAS, Norkom, SearchSpace;

Techniques for analysis of complex financial services data, including programming and computational techniques for large data sets and quantitative analysis;
Statistical techniques for analyzing financial data, including: sampling, optimization, logistic regression, and cluster analysis; and

Visualization techniques for summarizing complex financial data analysis.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and a proven record of success as a manager of engagements and project teams, which include the following:
Ability and experience managing teams using leading programming and analytical tools to analyze AML data, including SAS, R, C++, SPSS, Oracle, SQL.

Ability and experience writing and verbally communicating technical and AML regulatory issues to senior-level clients.

Understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback
Identifying and addressing client needs, which includes the following: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; approaching client in an organized manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor
Prioritizing and handling multiple tasks; researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters; utilizing problem-solving skills; and, communicating effectively in written and verbal formats to various audiences (including various levels of management and external clients) in a professional business environment.
