Job Description:
PricewaterhouseCoopers is nationally recognized for its in-depth technical knowledge and experience in taxation. Our National Operations Group features a multi-disciplined staff including: accountants, attorneys, economists and technologists from a variety of backgrounds, including former government officials (e.g., from the Treasury Department, the IRS and Congressional tax staffs), corporate tax directors, tax professionals from law firms, technology professionals and tax advisors from the Firm’s practice offices. Team members serve as business advisors to clients by: monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory tax developments; assisting clients in developing strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments; analyzing the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals; and addressing technology needs to support tax function effectiveness Enterprise application services we provide include the following:

-Architecture: Rationalizing a portfolio of applications from integrated systems, best-of-breed solutions, and other software implemented over the years or inherited with mergers and acquisitions

-Selection: Facilitating an objective, fact-based process to weigh the most viable options for integrated systems (e.g. ERP) and/or best-of-breed, point solutions

-Implementation: Assessing, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Oracle and SAP system components to meet business requirements

-Optimization: Assessing and redesigning processes in Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or other leading ERP systems

Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business related field

Certification(s) Preferred: CPA, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or PMP

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of ERP-based solutions to contribute as a functional team member in consulting, designing, implementing and supporting those solutions, including areas that are related to enterprise application architecture, selection, implementation and optimization.
Demonstrates working knowledge and/or direct consulting experience assisting clients with the implementation and support of ERP solutions and improving financial business processes, emphasizing in issues related to taxation and enterprise applications.
Demonstrates considerable knowledge of general tax, which includes but is not limited to the following: monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory tax developments; assisting in the development of strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments; analyzing the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals; and, addressing technology needs to support tax function effectiveness.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates some proven ability to design, build, test and deploy ERP-based solutions.
Demonstrates some proven ability and/or direct working experience to identify and address client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
Demonstrates some proven ability and/or direct working experience as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff.
Demonstrates some proven ability to utilize effectively written and verbal business communication skills within a professional business services environment, including interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management.
