Consultant / Senior Consultant ‑ Federal, MPA/MPP Advanced Degree, Deloitte Consulting LLP
We provide professional services in diverse public sector areas such as health and human service, tax and revenue, child support and enforcement, law and justice, budgeting, revenue collection, public housing, school districts, public employee retirement systems, mass transit, airports, regulators, and criminal justice. Our Consultant and Senior Consultant positions are primarily differentiated by the number of years work experience prior to your graduate school studies. Consultants typically have two years of previous work experience, while Senior Consultants have three to four year of previous work experience. As a new Consultant, you will play a pivotal role with responsibilities that range from analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel to developing recommendations and authoring presentations. You will be a part of a collaborative project team that provides our public sector clients with services that are practical as well as visionary ‑ services that help clients in their efforts to transform the way government does business. Our services are designed to help our clients increase their transparency and improve their service delivery and responsiveness to constituents.
As you begin your career with us, you will have the opportunity to leverage your background and skills by specializing immediately or by gaining exposure to several competencies during your first few years as a consultant. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop specialized skills within our Human Capital, Strategy & Operations, or Technology Integration service areas.
You are expected to refine your consulting skills and gain a deep knowledge of a service area as your career develops and you take on increased managerial responsibilities.

- Graduation from an MPA or MPP program

- Ability to travel (required)
- US Citizenship
- Ability to acquire U.S. Security Clearance
