Business Analyst -Federal, Deloitte Consulting

An entry-level role in our practice providesyou the opportunity to sharpen your analytical and business skills whileworking as part of a team committed to developing executable strategy for key federalclients.
Asa Federal Strategy & Operations practitioneryou will have the opportunity to work across a wide range ofprojects and tackle the complex business problems in the public sector. To provide all Business Analysts in theFederal practice with the opportunity to explore a variety of project duties, youwill be given the opportunity to rotate among various project roles. The goal is to provide Business Analysts inthe Federal practice with unique project experiences across multiple Federal agenciesand their associated projects. Thishelps our junior practitioners explore their areas of interest and gain a broadset of skills and knowledge to help advance their careers.
Federal practitionershave the opportunity to enhance their skills and develop through a number of differentvenues. As a Business Analyst in theFederal practice you will receive approximately two weeks of classroom and computer-basedtraining upon joining Deloitte Consulting with an objective to learn about ourfirm, the Federal practice, our clients, and the world of consulting. Past modules have included simulated clientsites, case studies, and interactive group exercises. In addition, continuing education isavailable through a combination of Deloitte Consulting in-person classroom aswell as web-based on-line resources. Inaddition, strong performing practitioners are eligible to take part in certificationprograms.
Weare seeking exceptional candidates who are seniors at select colleges anduniversities. Our Federal practice has adiverse set of offerings to our clients and thus candidates from all academic majorsare encouraged to apply. Some travel maybe required; however, most of our clients are located in and around the greaterWashington, D.C. metropolitan area. We also have limited opportunities in theAtlanta, GA area. Regardless of your experience; you must have a stronginterest in supporting public sector and working with our Federal clients.
