Job Description:
The Tax Project Management group is focused on strategic market priorities such as improving communication and process improvement initiatives to achieve innovative, optimized, cost effective and efficient models for delivering outstanding services to our clients.

Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree

Certification(s) Required: PMP or similar certification

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates proven expertise of and success in roles utilizing, project management methodologies and frameworks which may include the following areas:
Implementing and analyzing the impact of our major Tax engagements on the assigned practice.
Connecting and building relationships with key practice leaders to analyze current practice plans, practice business models and relevant performance metrics.
Liaising between practice leader(s) and the engagement managers.
Leading value chain transformation projects in an effort to support continuous improvement for the assigned practice and documenting relevant critical success factors to measure progress for the practice.
Acting as a key business advisor as part of the extended practice leadership team.
Driving and aligning necessary change management and learning support solutions across an organization through a broad understanding of innovation, people and business strategies.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates proven expert-level ability and success leading the development and implementation of projects plans while managing risk, meeting budgets and targets on large scale projects in complex organizations.
Demonstrates proven expert-level ability and success with managing cross functional teams and working as part of team to manage conflict and openly address challenges.
Demonstrates proven extensive ability and success with utilizing analytical and problem solving skills to identify and implement solutions from high volumes of data [e.g., building dashboard to communicate executive message(s) to leadership].
Demonstrates proven expert-level ability and success to utilize effective written and verbal communication skills, building extensive networks to achieve the following results:
-Update and review results of management reports to inform practice leaders of project and engagement statuses, as well as supporting the engagement teams to provide the necessary controls and timely completion for client service projects.
-Update and/or develop a dashboard to communicate the results of analyzing large volumes of data for practice leadership
-Translate a concept or vision into an action plan with proven results in developing and executing implementation plans and change management strategies, while considering actions to mitigate risks.
-Manage engagement project manager teams.
-Obtain internal and external approvals for process changes.
-Collaborate with internal deployment leaders to reallocate resources assigned to engagement teams, as necessary.
-Communicate any pending overruns to leadership to eliminate surprises and support the practice in meeting billing and collection goals.
-Manage cross-functional teams, serving as part of a team to manage conflict and openly address challenges.
-Create awareness, understanding and support for new business approaches and process improvements.
-Develop quickly leadership presence and brand recognition with industry clients and internal leadership.
