FSR is comprised of subject matter specialists on virtually all asset classes, including: Residential and Commercial Mortgages, Auto Loans and Leases, Credit Cards, Student Loans, Derivatives, Commercial Loans and Bonds, Debt and Equity Securities
The team specializes in providing the following services all as they relate to financial instruments, structured products, and real estate – Model governance and validation, Accounting advisory, End-to-end transaction support and Valuation, Business processes and controls, Tax and treasury, Capital funding strategies
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 1
Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or business related field required.
Demonstrates some proven knowledge of, and/or success in roles involving, the tax implications affecting loans, debt and equity securities, preferably for a global consulting partnership.
Demonstrates some proven abilities and success in roles involving the tax implications affecting Mortgage Backed Securities, Collateral debt obligations, and asset backed securities, preferably for a global consulting partnership, which includes the following areas:
Leveraging FAS 109, FIN 48, GAAP Reporting Issues and Mark to Market elections for asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities;
Identifying and addressing client needs, including building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor; and,
Performing as a team member-understanding personal and team roles, and contributing to a positive working environment
