Partnership Solutions Group (“PSG”) is a division of National Federal Tax Services (“NFTS”) and is one of the fastest growing practice groups in all of Deloitte Tax.  PSG’s practice is split into two primary areas: Investment Management (“IM”) and Energy, Real Estate, and Other Industries (“ERO”).  In the IM practice, PSG professionals use proprietary technologies to assist financial services clients in the streamlining of their tax compliance processes, especially with respect to partnership-specific tax calculations, allocations through tiered partnership structures, and Schedule K‑1 preparation.  IM professionals deliver their services using our proprietary Internet-based Process and Compliance System (“iPACS”).  In the ERO practice, PSG professionals counsel privately held and publicly traded partnerships across the United States on a wide range of federal tax issues involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings, post-offering compliance, and process design and improvement.  Industries served by the ERO practice include energy (e.g., oil and gas), real estate, telecom, healthcare, media/entertainment, and financial services (e.g., asset management, private equity, and venture capital).
