Job Description:
PwC’s Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm’s priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.

Our Marketing team is focused on developing and leveraging our deep understanding of marketplace trends and issues to design, implement and measure integrated strategic marketing plans for our industry sectors, Lines of Service, and geographic markets. Our marketing plans help position PwC’s brand in our key markets, sectors, client segments, other stakeholders as with the economic buyers, align PwCs presence around key business issues facing our clients and drive demand for our services. Marketing supports the sales process by linking client issues and needs to specific business opportunities and capabilities and contributes to the development of high quality proposal strategies and deliverables.

Marketing is responsible for advising industry, sector and line of service leadership on strategic business issues (i.e., external and internal forces that impact the sector’s ability to grow at the expected rate). It includes leading the development of the annual marketing strategy with management of a marketing budget and team.

The Marketing organization will:

– Assess key issues facing our clients and connects them to our products and Services.
– Involve industry specific, regulatory operational and organizational issues our clients face.
– Supervise distribution of industry sector and other business insight and thought leadership and connect those insights to client interactions.
– Drive PwCs Brand and relationships with key economic buyer groups such as CEOs, finance professionals, operations professionals, IT professionals and board members.
– Manage the PwC Brand, for non-economic buyer stakeholders.
– Works across our matrix to make sure integrated marketing plans are created and the impacts of marketing activities are measured. Evaluates the results of marketing activities and, when appropriate, makes changes in marketing plans.

The Line Of Service marketing team will focus on the marketing and sales of one specific PwC Line of Service (LOS): Advisory, Assurance, Private Company Services, Risk Assurance, or Tax. The LOS marketing team delivers marketing strategy and programs that pave way for client teams and sales to build new client relationships, create new opportunities for growth and build the PwC brand in the market segments. Interaction with other LOS, sectors and geographies will also come into play.

Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree

Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or like kind field (e.g., Communications, Public Relations, Advertising).

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrated intimate level knowledge of marketing strategies and programs developed to drive business objectives and provide the overall direction for all marketing activities.
Demonstrated intimate level understanding of competitive positioning leveraged to contribute to the development of messaging and marketing strategies.
In-depth understanding of key business issues our clients are facing and aligns our go-to-market strategy and point-of-view(s) around those issues.

Skills Preferred:
Ability to evaluate, analyze and interpret voice of the customer and market research information from a variety of sources.
Proven ability to leverage writing skills in order to translate complex concepts into easy to understand and compelling messaging.
Proven ability to manage marketing budget, across all programs.
Demonstrated ability to measure and track results of marketing programs and report on Return On Investment (ROI).
Proven ability to overcome internal barriers and resource constraints in order to produce successful program, effectively manage accelerating changes as required in a dynamic market and organization.
Demonstrated ability to share responsibility for driving adherence to risk management protocols.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex marketing programs in one or more business area.
Proven ability to lead the development of marketing tactics across a wide variety of functional areas of marketing.
Ability to work independently to resolve issues, coordinating with leadership or subject matter experts when necessary.
Ability to manage on-going marketing strategy and drives change by collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals.
Ability to manage performance and development of staff through coaching.
Experience with social channels and digital media.
