Job Description:
Global Human Capital (HC) is responsible for driving the people strategy and our high performance culture. Creating value for our clients and our people is at our core. The team plays a key role in creating the PwC Experience for our people and supports our values and leverages the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firmwide success in the marketplace.

The Network Key Talent function will be responsible for leading the firm’s efforts around the design, execution and management of PwC’s key talent programme for the firm’s most senior leaders of the global network (G500).
This function will be part of an executive design team who will create the architecture for the identification and accelerated development of our network key talent (global partners). This function will report directly to both the Global Human Capital Leader and Global Leadership Development leader.
In addition, this function will build a community around this group (G500) to create a sense of collective leadership around the future of the network.
The overarching purpose of the function is to create a cadre of leaders for the future that represents the next generation of network leadership

This function will create a portfolio of interventions and experiences that will create PwC Leaders of the future. The function cultivates and manages relationships with appropriate senior members of PwC leadership teams and their respective governance committees to understand business strategy and help recommend and support current leadership development priorities.

Working with these business leaders, the function will craft individualized personal leadership development strategies for the identified network key talent. They proactively identify and surface development needs and priorities; help to establish linkage with appropriate development solutions; help to establish proper project planning and accountability across the firm’s leadership to procure and assign appropriate resources; oversee execution; and measure the success of learning and performance improvement solutions.

This function will create close working relationships with the individuals of the G500 to facilitate a “personal touch” that signifies the importance they play to the future leadership of the firm.

In this function, once the programme is designed and the key talent is identified, this function will work directly and extensively with the individual partners concerned to build specific development interventions to accelerate their potential.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Intimate understanding of professional services firms and perceived externally as a thought leader in leadership development strategies. Thorough understanding and experience identifying and addressing the development needs of C-suite executives. Specific experience developing leadership teams globally across a diverse set of experiences, cultures and backgrounds.

Extensive, applied knowledge of leadership development; adult learning theory; training needs/performance gap analysis; instructional design and development; program planning ; evaluation and assessment of learning; and the effective use of educational technologies

Understanding of industry norms; common practices in people and leadership development across similar organizations; and an ability to benchmark these practices effectively

Demonstrated experience working across multiple countries, territories, and cultures with a balance of globalization and localization.

Demonstrated experience in creating an architecture for the identification and accelerated development of network key talent

Proven Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) on leadership development and nationally or globally recognized resource in this field, in addition to being an expert C-suite facilitator.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrated ability to engage, collaborate with, influence, lead executive business leaders and senior stakeholders in crafting and executing business-wide leadership development strategy

Extensive experience identifying development needs and performance gaps; determining appropriate actions to address these

Demonstrated success leading innovative executive learning design and performance improvement via face-to-face learning (national, regional, local), simulations, virtual classroom, and other technology enhanced learning environments

Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a matrix organization to integrate learning, development, coaching/mentoring, career planning, performance management, etc. and to lead large scale cultural and business-practical change

Proven success running the operational aspects of a business unit: strategic planning; product development/management; budgeting; resource allocation; cost management/operational efficiency; service delivery; tracking/reporting/success measurement; team leadership, etc.

Demonstrated people oriented management skills and a developmental mindset

Demonstrated written and oral communication, negotiation, and business analysis skills

Demonstrated ability to effectively create common business documents (whitepapers, presentations/pitches, statistic reports, project planning documents, budgets, etc.) using MS Office products

Strong Relationships and knowledge of the strategy council and Territory Senior partners is strongly preferred.

An MBA and a graduate degree in organizational/human resources development; leadership development; or other learning-related area preferred.

Proven record of leading a learning organization for a medium-sized business .

At least 15 years experience in talent/organizational/leadership development; learning; or other related fields with a minimum of 10 years’ experience leading a learning function in a professional services, management consulting, technology consulting or other similar environment.
