Job Description:
The Knowledge Services Organization supports PricewaterhouseCoopers with a collection of knowledge-sharing tools and resources, such as a robust intranet portal, research and analytics, and content development services.

Knowledge Domain supports the sharing of knowledge across the US Knowledge Gateway, managing documents; aligned with Firm strategy via Knowledge Agendas.

The Knowledge Domain Manager champions the authorship and knowledge sharing culture within the Firm. The Domain Manager leads the development of an annual “Domain Knowledge Agenda,” which is the strategic and tactical development plan approved by the Firm businesses within the Knowledge Domain. The Knowledge Domain Manager facilitates and coordinates the identification of strategic priorities that justify knowledge generation within the Knowledge Domain.

He or she will work to understand and map current client issues, and establish availability, accessibility and quality of content and knowledge to help Firm businesses create greater efficiencies around doing work/ winning new work, and measure the return on investment for the Firm’s knowledge assets by managing the Knowledge resources for this domain by working with various stakeholders, providing that content standards meet compliance, and improving the user experience so that the Knowledge Gateway is valued as a tool for winning and doing work.

The selected individual will have demonstrated experience and abilities related to the following areas:
• Creates and maintains a domain knowledge agenda and implementation work plan with initiative teams for execution.
* Manages content lifecycle process by publishing and maintains documents in the Knowledge Gateway and managing the Domain HomePage; improving and simplifying user experience by resolving issues, requesting and recommending technical enhancements, tailoring the Domain Home Page, etc.; analyzing metrics and utilizes conclusions to enhance user experience, communicating with stakeholders and affecting cultural change within the Domain; promoting compliance with knowledge management standards, Firm Risk and Quality policies and brand policies and managing the intellectual property of the Domain.
•Manages on-time, on-budget completion of implementation work plan for the Domain; utilizing usage metrics improvement for designated domains such as increased usage, increased power usage, fewer null search results.
• Evaluates content lifecycle metrics related to content receipt and other publishing stages of the content lifecycle.

The selected individual may have demonstrated experience and abilities related to the following areas:

• Demonstrates through knowledge in public accounting auditing services
• An Advanced degree or related certifications

Time spent managing staff in this role 30%; responsibilities will focus on domain management and initiatives. May have some input in regards to hiring decisions

Skills Preferred:

• Has regular communication with leadership level stakeholders, including Domain owner and steering committee.
* Must be able to work closely with CSS professionals, lines of service, regional leadership, and other KSO units.
• Builds, maintains and leverages a network (e.g. working with managers of Marketing, Brand, Learning & Education, OCG, Finance, etc.) as well as client relationships including Domain Partner Leader and Steering Committee for the Domain and employs the network to enhance Firm connectivity, performance and profitability.
• Persuades colleagues, customers and management using listening and negotiation skills to create win/win solutions
• Facilitates small teams through issue resolution to consensus
• Provides customer relationship management at domain leadership/steering committee level.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate a value proposition; issue, action, impact.
Actively manages client service teams of directors, managers and staff on a project basis
