Job Description:
PwC’s Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm’s priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.

Our Marketing team is focused on developing and leveraging our deep understanding of marketplace trends and issues to design, implement and measure integrated strategic marketing plans for our industry sectors, Lines of Service, and geographic markets. Our marketing plans help position PwC’s brand in our key markets, sectors, client segments, other stakeholders as with the economic buyers, align PwCs presence around key business issues facing our clients and drive demand for our services. Marketing supports the sales process by linking client issues and needs to specific business opportunities and capabilities and contributes to the development of high quality proposal strategies and deliverables.

Marketing is responsible for advising industry, sector and line of service leadership on strategic business issues (i.e., external and internal forces that impact the sector’s ability to grow at the expected rate). It includes leading the development of the annual marketing strategy with management of a marketing budget and team.

The Marketing organization will:

– Assess key issues facing our clients and connects them to our products and services. – Involve industry specific, regulatory operational and organizational issues our clients face. – Supervise distribution of industry sector and other business insight and thought leadership and connect those insights to client interactions
– Drive PwCs Brand and relationships with key economic buyer groups such as CEOs, finance professionals, operations professionals, IT professionals and board members.
– Manage the PwC Brand,for non-economic buyer stakeholders
– Works across our matrix to make sure integrated marketing plans are created and the impacts of marketing activities are measured. Evalutates the results of marketing activities and, when appropriate, makes changes in marketing plans.

Solution Marketers focus on the marketing and sales of PwC solutions and initiatives. The primary focus will be in one specific line of service(LOS), however it is anticipated that interaction with other LOS, sectors and geographies will also come into play.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Extensive knowledge with the marketing and sales of a firm’s solutions and initiatives. including a focus in one specific line of service, This position will require considerable knowledge of current products, as well as an awareness of changes in the business environment and how these changes affect both current and new product. Extensive knowledge of client and target organizations.

Skills Preferred:

Extensive experience to discuss and explain current and emerging products and services, as well as promote new solutions, ideas and services broadly throughout assigned line of service through road shows, solution roll-out calls, etc.
Extensive experience to facilitate market segmentation efforts and strategic planning to provide proper partner resource allocation.
Demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for business development-related national initiatives. These areas comprise 80% of the role.

Demonstrated ability to have direct interaction with senior partners and client service personnel. Demonstrated ability to coach and mange people. These areas comprise 20% of the role.
