Job Description:
Healthcare is a transforming industry due to legislative and regulatory demands, technology challenges, and societal trends. Our growing Health Industries Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions around the world to anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. Our practitionars are supported by a dedicated health research unit, which is managed by a physician partner and provides our clients with cutting-edge intelligence, perspective, and analysis on issues transforming the health industry. Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Healthcare Advisory practice is aligned across: Healthcare Provider, Healthcare Payers, and Pharmaceutical and Life Science.

As a member of the Compliance Management team, you will help clients gain control over diverse risks through a consistent, coordinated and sustainable strategy. PricewaterhouseCooper’s Compliance Management approach is a principles-guided, step-by-step, logical and scalable method that integrates governance, risk and compliance activities into a manageable and sustainable process. Compliance Management Services include:

-Identify unmanaged risks through a practical but comprehensive evaluation process.
-Improve the content, quality and timing of governance, risk and compliance analysis and reporting.
-Implement a proactive approach to risk management.
-Control the growth of governance, risk and compliance-related expenses.
-Enable business resources to focus on revenue generation.
-Establish a timely and consistent approach to assess compliance programs across business units.
-Establish an enterprise-wide view of gaps and improve risk response strategies.
-Streamline compliance programs across the enterprise to gain efficiencies and improve effectiveness.
-Establish consistent policies and standards across the enterprise to enforce ownership and accountability.
-Leverage technology to aggregate controls information to rapidly identify and report exceptions, as well as improve information quality.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Thorough knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical consulting within a top consulting or accounting firm. Exposure to strategy, operations and management in a number of functional areas of corporations or start up companies.

Thorough knowledge and experience in corporate compliance, including developing and assessing corporate compliance programs, constructing, monitoring and auditing programs, managing internal risk assessments/investigations, working with organization management to integrate compliance controls into the scope of existing business practices, developing/delivering compliance training, and developing/managing incident management systems.

Thorough ability to manage multiple, complex projects and direct medium to large staff teams. Solid analytical skills required.

Skills Preferred:

Thorough leadership experience coupled with good communication skills, healthcare industry knowledge and analytical skills. Thorough project management and project facilitation skills with the ability to lead/facilitate teams and develop client proposals. Thorough business development and relationship management know-how.

Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.

Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:


Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required. Graduate level degree preferred (i.e. Juris Doctor, Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Public Health).

Travel requirements: 60%-80%.
