Job Description:
Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. The HR functions help the local offices in driving the firm’s people strategy, helping to create a unique people experience for each individual, supporting our firm wide vales and working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firm wide success in the marketplace. Human Resources supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.

The Firm provides HR support to the majority of our Staff in the field through a Market organization. Each of the 20 Markets has a Market HR Leader (MHRL) leading the Market and supporting HR staff in Advisory, Tax , Assurance, and in most markets, IFS. In addition, the market teams are composed of HR Generalists, dedicated to staff in specific lines of service, along with sourcing staff and diversity staff to serve that market.

Line of Service Market generalists are individual HR advisors to Line of Service (Assurance, Advisory, Tax) Market Teams (“MT”) leveraging functional knowledge of HR and Line of Service to implement Firmwide and Line of Service (LoS) Unique People Experience strategy, partnering with other HR colleagues in the geographic market.

The primary responsibility for the Line of Service (Advisory, Tax or Assurance) Senior Associate is to provide tactical deployment support to Talent Network Managers (Advisory)/Tax Team Leaders (Tax), and Market HR through the following activities: Entering data into Retain (e.g. resulting from individual scheduling changes or staffing meetings); Reporting, including generation and distribution of forecast to actual reports, forecast availability to help leadership manage the market’s utilization; and Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts.

Provide support to HR team as directed. Specific responsibilities may include: large quantity/consolidated HRMD entries (e.g. spot bonuses, intern separations) credentialing, annual review activities, compensation or PC&D activities. Also act as the Point of contact for internal candidate sourcing (Advisory only) responsibilities may include: Coordinating interview schedules; Screening candidates; Working with HR market leader to determine viability and offer amounts; Coordinates with sourcing on offers. This role is a team member who serves the market LoS population, having an impact on short-term market deployment activities and long-term development impact. This job shares direct financial and budget responsibility and limited responsibility to help the Firm manage risk exposure.

Skills Preferred:

Has latitude to make many decisions and solve problems independently. Consults with HR managers and engagement managers on more challenging issues. Provides support to LoS teams in the market.

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:


Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:

Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent HR experience


20-40% travel based on travel to client sites and locations within the market
