Business Risk

The Business Risk (“BR”) service area is comprised of professionals that possess competency and experience in the areas of risk management, business and operational processes, internal auditing, financial reporting and other internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Business risk professionals use these skills to assess, analyze, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, financial and operational control processes, offer recommendations to improve operations, and assist clients with enterprise risk and compliance activities.Deloitte Discovery’s Advisory professionals provide consulting to corporate law departments around information management, legal holds, preservation, acquisition, electronic discovery readiness and records management as it pertains to the discovery process. These services address and help corporate law departments manage spend, decrease risk, and increase effectiveness.

 

Technology Risk

The Technology Risk (“TR”) service area is comprised of professionals with a broad range of information technology and risk management consulting skills. TR professionals focus on information systems and technology that manage risk and/or drive operational, financial and regulatory compliance processes; as well as solutions that manage the risk associated with information technology itself. These professionals perform assessments, remediation, implementation and integration of end-to-end solutions in these areas. They also deliver advisory services focused on risk and compliance to IT management and senior executives.

 

We are growing our Advisory practice with Consultants and Senior Consultants who are highly motivated individuals with the appropriate balance of technical and business skills, education, and experiences.

 

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Advisory practice,

 

You will be part of a high-profile, highly visible project team.  The team will deliver valued services involving direct interaction with clients.  As a member of the team, you will collaborate with highly experienced professionals to help our clients define and implement creative solutions that address their critical business needs.  Your responsibilities will range from providing specific subject-matter knowledge and experience to leading delivery teams.

Minimum qualifications for an Advisory Consultant / Senior Consultant include:

–    A technical background (from undergraduate degree or prior work experience) pursuing an MBA or Masters of Science in Technology (minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA) 

–    Two to five years experience, with one to two years experience in roles that have used technology as an business enabler (a minimum of three years of work experience is a prerequisite for the Senior Consultant role)

–    Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities

–    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

–    A willingness to travel to client locations
