Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP advises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.


We are seeking qualified Interns to join the Capital Projects Consulting practice:


The construction industry is characterized by uncertainty of outcomes, high stakes related to cost, liability and safety considerations and the inherent competing interests of a host of essential participants, including owners, contractors, architects/ engineers and construction managers. Parties to the construction process increasingly find themselves involved in disputes centering on highly complex technical issues. Resolving these issues can be the key to a successful construction project and even to the continued survival of the business entities involved.

The Deloitte FAS Capital Projects Consulting practice is composed of professionals with practical industry experience in nearly every aspect of the capital construction process, and with advanced degrees in engineering, architecture, business, accounting and law. We have assisted with the resolution of complex capital construction project disputes around the world. Through our access to the DTT global network of member firms, the Deloitte FAS Capital Projects Consulting practice offers a broad range of integrated services in varied professional disciplines that touch upon almost every aspect of the capital construction process



Interns will possess the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing an Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural undergraduate degree with an expected graduation in the appropriate academic year
  • Strong academic credentials required, 3.0+ GPA
  • 1+ years of engineering/construction related academics/experience
  • Knowledge of the design and construction processes
  • Ability to analyze construction, machinery, equipment, and other asset related projects
  • Ability to analyze technical projects and assets from a market, cost, and income perspective
  • Ability to conduct market and industry research utilizing the internet and databases
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficiency with Primavera and Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and construction industry applications
  • Must be flexible with the potential travel requirements of client service projects
  • Experience in a professional services firm preferred
  • Candidates must be eligible to receive a US Government Security Clearance. Preference will be given to candidates with an active clearance.
