Tax Senior, Business Tax Services position available in Omaha, NE. Assist companies with national, state and local and international tax structures and align the tax function with business objectives. Assist clients with fundamental tax planning and analysis, work to understand company-specific business and tax issues and identify and mitigate risk areas. Utilize CCH and BNA to conduct tax technical research and analyze a wide range of tax issues encountered on engagements. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Taxation, Economics or a related field plus eighteen months of experience in the job offered or as a Tax Consultant or a related position. Eighteen months of experience must include: Preparing and reviewing federal and state business income tax returns for consolidated group utilizing Go Systems software; Computing clients’ quarterly estimated taxes, providing extension analysis and preparing various information returns; Calculating tax depreciation expense for fixed assets using FAS 500 software; Auditing and preparing annual and quarterly tax provisions for public and private companies utilizing ASC 740 for income taxes; Preparing FIN 48 workpaper; Tax memo preparation in compliance with ASC 740; International compliance issues related to FBAR; Partnership withholding tax and partner’s capital allocations issues; Schedule K-1s disclosures; Partnership basis calculations; Analysis of dividend income; and Tax technical research utilizing CCH and BNA.
