Job Description:
Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. The HR functions help the local offices in driving the firm’s people strategy, helping to create a unique people experience for each individual, supporting our firm wide vales and working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firm wide success in the marketplace. Human Resources supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.

The Firm provides HR support to the majority of our Staff in the field through a Market organization. Each of the 20 Markets has a Market HR Leader (MHRL) leading the Market and supporting HR staff in Advisory, Tax , Assurance, and in most markets, IFS. In addition, the market teams are composed of HR Generalists, dedicated to staff in specific lines of service, along with sourcing staff and diversity staff to serve that market.

Line of Service Market generalists are individual HR advisors to Line of Service (Assurance, Advisory, Tax) Market Teams (“MT”) leveraging functional knowledge of HR and Line of Service to implement Firmwide and Line of Service (LoS) Unique People Experience strategy, partnering with other HR colleagues in the geographic market.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Functions as primary market LoS point of contact for LoS leadership and is responsible for supervising up to 2 other Market Team HR generalists. Provides technical HR expertise to market team in the areas of coaching & development, talent management, performance management, employee relations and HR policy interpretation.

Accountable for execution of People Strategy implementation and HR support within assigned Market Team, including coaching and development, talent management, performance management, team development and facilitation and rewards and recognition. Supervises up to two other Market Team HR Generalists in execution of their Market Team HR responsibilities.

Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) strongly preferred PHR or SPHR strongly preferred

Skills Preferred:

Minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience, preferably in a professional services firm or large corporate environment that demonstrates steady progression and advancement with increased responsibilities, including management, team building and presentation capabilities.

Has latitude to independently make decisions and solve problems affecting assigned market team. Consults with HR Generalist Leader on more difficult issues
