Job Description:
US Finance and Operations plays a pivotal role in implementing the firm’s business strategy, drives our financial and operational performance excellence to sustain and strengthen the firm’s financial well being, and provides business analytics that help extend PwC’s market competitiveness. There are ten correlated groups within Finance and Operations:

Finance – Controller Operations, LOS Finance, Treasury, Partnership Tax, US Procurement, Internal Audit;
Operations – Meeting & Event Services, Real Estate, Travel, Security

These groups manage the firm’s capital monetary resources; drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and engagement economics at the partner/business unit level; establish internal controls and processes for cost management; provide a safe and progressive workplace; and provide efficient travel and meeting space so our partners and people can profitably grow our firm.

The National Operations Meeting and Events team is the single point of contact for the Meeting and Events Services internal clients.

The Virtual Meeting Program Manager (VMPM) team is the contact for virtual meetings. The VMPM consults with the internal client on the best virtual meeting media based on objectives, technology functionality, audience size, location, playback and CPE requirements, and budget.

Virtual interactive technologies and adult learning/understanding principles to enable virtual meeting success

Corporate meetings and events

Compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines related to the accounting, financial and professional services industry

Demonstrated ability to:

Deliver presentations in a variety of formats to a variety of audiences, in a manner that facilitates audience buy-in

Work with all levels of management

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Manage a meeting deliver team potentially consisting of: meeting sponsor, other program managers, suppliers, etc.

Understand cultural issues and sensitivities

Learn new technologies quickly

Proficiency in Microsoft Live Meeting, WebEx, ON24 and BT Webcast platforms and PMI certification preferred

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:

5 years of experience in the information technology and/or instructional design industry

Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:


Successful track record in supplier management, relationship building, negotiation and problem solving

Project Management experience

Ability to work extensively in Excel using formulas
