Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the U.S. international and domestic (federal) aspects of tax compliance, audits, provisions (ASC 740), as well as tax modeling and planning. Position reports to the international tax manager, but works closely with other tax functions and accounting personnel globally.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

*Prepares computations and analysis to support the company’s quarterly and annual financial tax provisions. Manages Sarbanes-Oxley 404 process and maintains international tax provision documentation.

*Supports various U.S. international and domestic tax compliance activities, including preparation of 5471s/8858s, foreign tax credit calculations, E&P/tax pools, federal excise tax filings (including medical device tax), transfer pricing analysis, Section 199 domestic production activity deduction, and Section 861 expense allocation.

*Gathers and analyzes data relevant to evaluation of Company’s tax planning strategies as well as support of such strategies under IRS examination.

*Assists with research of international tax technical issues as they arise in the ordinary course of business or identified during the development of tax planning strategies and performs other basic tax research as required. Stays current with respect to U.S. international and foreign tax law changes and tax alerts.

Education/Experience Requirements

*Undergraduate degree in accounting or business is required. Graduate-level tax degree is preferred.

*Minimum 3-5 years of corporate tax experience is required and some international tax experience is preferred.

*Public accounting experience and/or manufacturing experience also preferred.

*CPA or JD required.

Travel Requirements

*Up to 10%
