General Summary

This position is responsible for using independent discretion and knowledge to preparing complex tax returns and schedules, or other tax documents to ensure accurate tax reporting or tax planning.

Essential Job Accountabilities

  1. Preparation of tax returns or other tax documents, including related maintenance, processing, and analysis of accounting records to ensure timely and accurate reporting or tax planning.
  2. Review returns of Tax Accountant I and II for accuracy to ensure final submissions are correct.
  3. Prepare supporting documentation for organized audit trail to minimize audit assessment and future audit exposure.
  4. Actively research process improvements as needed to ensure efficiency.
  5. Prepare monthly account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
  6. Develop good working relationships with various counterparts within the company to ensure accurate data support.
  7. Lead special projects as assigned to improve processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in related field
