Our growing Advisory Forensics Services practice protects opportunities for clients by working with them to strategically prepare for and manage the changeable complexities of the evolving threat landscape and by providing unparalleled resources and insights to investigate fraud, assist in risk management and mitigation, and identify and analyze vulnerabilities – whether in one country or worldwide. With a strong Forensics presence in more than 40 countries, our strategic threat management approach enables us to work with international clients to anticipate, manage, and respond to threats, while also helping clients become “threat-smart.” Our Forensics professionals possess core forensics capabilities as well as forensic technology expertise and offer clients a unilateral advantage in investigating problems that extend across borders or that afflict multinational organizations.

Our Forensics Technology Solutions consultants help clients protect business opportunities in today’s evolving threat landscape. The PricewaterhouseCoopers Forensic Data Analysis practice helps clients identify and analyze vulnerabilities in order to manage and mitigate risk. Our skills in forensic analysis allow our clients to continue their business, recover lost funds, halt further economic losses, and mitigate risk. We also assist our clients with requirements analysis, software vendor selection, integration customization, and tuning of anti-fraud, compliance, anti-money laundering (AML) and risk-management technology.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven expertise and consulting success with leading the development of quantitative data analyses and data mining solutions in support of forensic investigations, litigation, and/ or in responses to regulatory compliance-related inquiries, emphasizing the development of database driven reports and analyses, which includes the following:
– Identification and integration of data from a variety of sources;
– Assessment of data quality and its potential impact on analyses; – Development of rules to detect fraudulent or non-compliant transactions, statistical and economic impact analyses; and
– Development of executive-level reports and dashboard to summarize results.
– Requirement gathering, analysis, design, hands-on development of analyses, and supervision of Associates who will support the development of analyses.
– Accounting, finance, statistical analysis techniques, forensic investigative techniques, and/ or anti-fraud or compliance systems.
– Clear communication when writing, speaking and/or presenting to client finance and technology personnel, client in-house and outside legal counsel, compliance personnel, investigators, vendors or subcontractors, and forensic data analysis team members.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of relational database management system (RDBMS) design and development, requirements analyses, software vendor selection, integration customization, and tuning of anti-fraud, compliance, anti-money laundering (AML) and risk-management technology.

Completed studies of concentration in one or more of the following preferred: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or related sciences, and/or an obtained Masters in Information Systems.

Skills Preferred

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with using Oracle database, MS SQL-Server, MS Access, and SAS to accomplish the following:
– SQL programming
– Data mining
– Query construction, performance and tuning

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with following scripting languages: Perl, Python, or Visual Basic.

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:

10 years of Data Analytics experience.

Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:

Completed and obtained Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
