Tax Job Info Sharing

Tax Analysts, a nonprofit multimedia tax publisher, seeks an experienced editor. Responsibilities include planning, editing, and taking overall responsibility for State Tax Notes magazine, one of the company’s weekly publications. Evaluates material submitted for publication. Keeps abreast of current events in tax law through pertinent literature, media, and contacts with government officials and others. Writes editorials and participates in weekly editorial meetings. We strive to stir up great tax policy debate — and fuel it with the best news and commentary around. Because our publication has no advertising, no holds are barred in the aggressive pursuit of all angles of a given story — an advantage that few other periodicals can offer.

We offer a competitive compensation package with a wide range of benefits including 401(k) with employer match, affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance and a generous paid vacation and holiday schedule.

Tax Analysts resides in a spacious office building located midway between the East and West Falls Church Metro stops. Our employees enjoy an excellent benefits package as well as an environment with casual dress, ample free underground parking, an exercise room, and contemporary training and conference facilities.
